Google Chrome - Crashing

If you are having issues with Google Chrome crashing as soon as you open it, you may have a corrupt Chrome Profile.

Remove Corrupt User Profile Data Files:
1. Exit Google Chrome.

2. Double click My Computer desktop icon in Windows 7.

For Windows 8, drag your mouse to the right corner of your screen and select Search in the menu bar. Search for "Computer".

3. Open below directory:
C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

(NOTE: This is a hidden folder. To unhide the folder, press ALT on your keyboard, and a menu bar will appear at the top of the window. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Select the View tab in the window that opens, then select "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"

Click OK.)

4. Remove all contents from the “Default” folder. To do this, just highlight everything inside of the "Default" folder and delete it. You can press CTRL+A in windows to highlight all of the files. For Mac OS X, press Command-A to highlight all items in the folder.

Sign into chrome using the portal. When it asks to create a profile do “Link Data” (button in bottom left).
