Mac OSx Users
Once you have found the image you are wanting to resize, here are the steps to resizing the image on a Mac:
- Command-Click the image, and hover your cursor over "Open With".(With MacBook Pro, Control-Click the image, or simply left-click the image to reach the 'Open With' option.)
- From the drop down menu, select "Preview".The image will open in a new window.
- With the Preview window selected, click on "Tools" in the top bar to drop down that menu and select "Adjust Size".A window will slide down over the image.
- Change the “Fit into” drop down box to custom, and enter 250 height and 200 width into the dimensions boxes. Uncheck scale proportionally, and select pixels/inch. Click OK.
- Drop down the "File" menu, found in the top bar, and select either "Save" or "Save As"."Save" will replace the original image with the resized version, whereas "Save As" will allow you to save it as a new image under a new name.
In more recent versions of OS X, the "Save As" command has been hidden. To reveal it, click on the "File" menu and hold down the "Option" (⌥) key. "Save As" will appear in place of "Duplicate".
